Let’s get you back to what you love.
We know that your work, fitness, and health are important to you. We give you the tools, knowledge, and attention you deserve to get you back to what you love.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe that the human body is capable of great things. The more knowledgeable you are about the capacity of your own body, the more empowered you will be to take control of your own health.
Our locations
We’re The Movement, a team of passionate clinicians serving you in Dundas and Brantford! Alongside our extensive clinical practice we enjoy applying ourselves as educators and connectors in the broader physiotherapy field. But we want to impact the local community, which led us to The Movement. As clinicians, we’re passionate about promoting an active lifestyle and helping people thrive in the activities that drive them.
The Movement Approach
At The Movement Physiotherapy, we believe in giving patients the time they deserve through one on one individualized physiotherapy treatments that address all aspects of an individual’s pain. Treating patients in the Dundas, Hamilton, Paris & Brantford area.
Calm it down
We help you manage your pain through tailored advice and movement modifications aimed at stabilizing your symptoms and giving you control.
Bridge the gap
The last step is getting you back to what you love and this means bridging the gap between rehab and performance. Performance can mean a sport for some but not for others.
At The Movement Physio & Performance, we work with athletes and active people across the Hamilton area who want to understand why they're hurt and build a real path back to the things they love. Every appointment is 60 minutes, one on one with a physiotherapist who takes the time to hear your full story and build a plan around how you actually move.
We help people working through knee pain and IT band syndrome, shoulder injuries and rotator cuff strains, low back pain and sciatica, hip pain and labral tears, Achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis, and a wide range of overuse injuries keeping active people on the sidelines longer than they should be. For athletes and sport-focused patients in the west Hamilton area, our sports physiotherapy in Ancaster bridges the gap between injury rehab and performance, with running gait analysis, return-to-sport testing, and progressive strength and conditioning woven into every plan from day one.
We also offer dedicated pelvic health physiotherapy for women navigating postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, and related conditions that deserve real time and real attention. No referral is needed to book, and because our physiotherapists are athletes themselves, they understand what getting back to your sport actually demands.
If you're working through a new injury or a nagging issue you've been managing around for months, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out or book a free discovery call to get started.
